Food Pathogens Testing

AsiaFoodInspection uses BAX (r) system to perform rapid testing on food pathogens.

This provides our clients with a fast (about 2-3 days turnaround time) and accurate testing method for food pathogens, leveraging PCR (polymerase chain reaction) technology.

Range of Testing

Range of pathogens testing abilities covers:

Salmonella: for wide variety of food, including meat, poultry, fish and seafood, fruit and vegetable products, dairy products, chocolate/bakery products, animal feeds and pasta

L.monocytogenes: for wide variety of foods,including meat, poultry products, fresh produce and vegetables,cultured and non-cultured dairy products, fruit juice, eggs and egg products

Campylobacter: for poultry products

E. Coli O157: H7: for raw ground beef and beef trim; apple juice, orange juice, fresh produce and vegetables,environment samples and animal feeds

Enterobacter sakazakii: for selective foods, including powdered infant formula, dry dairy and soy ingredients and food production environment

Yeast & Mold: for preprocessed food, such as flours, cheese

Staph aureus: for powdered infant formula, ground beef, soy protein isolate

Vibrio: for aquatic products (shrimps, tuna, scallops and oysters)
